By chance a woman found me scorched beneath the surface of a dying land. Forgotten Hollow lived through ages of destruction and scrutiny. Just as I’d given up hope of my species, I’d awoken sparingly to find myself coiled in sheets and badly wounded. Barely able to breathe, lava chunks burst out of my mouth, scattered about before burning and hitting the floor. For weeks I’d lay in a dark room with only candles to provide light, as I came to consciousness, I noticed a beautiful being standing before me.

Her scent ran through me, giving me a sense of calm before I could close my eyes again. I reawakened in a bathtub filled with ice. Regaining my strength, I sought out to find the lady in question. At once she appeared in the doorway.

Felicity: “Hello.. I’m Felicity.”

I stared vacantly through her perfect iris hazel eyes, and before I could answer, I motioned towards her reluctant gaze. After backing her into a corner, we morphed into knowing and understanding as her body became one with mine. I gathered she’d lost her sister during these wretched times. One day she set out looking for her when instead she found me. It was time to feed, and with her body morphed into mine I could now withstand sunlight.

She was my armor and I was her shield. We made our way to The Gnome’s Arms which was a local bar where we met some interesting characters. One woman in particular caught my attention. She was 6 months pregnant and out with friends. Women were everywhere and this was my playing field. Staring into the eyes of a pregnant woman with the potency of blood gave Felicity a seed that she’d soon produce as children of our own.
